This structured eight week programme is about moving your focus away from counting calories. Away from ‘good’ food or ‘bad’ food. It is geared towards:
- Helping you build keeping active into your day (no more tyranny of the gym)
- Learning to change and control your behaviour.
- Changing your relationship with food permanently.
You will go from seeing food as something you turn to out of boredom or frustration when things aren’t going well to the source of energy it is and something to be enjoyed.
No more guilt trips after binging on “bad” food!
This is not a diet.
Why? Because Diets. Don’t. Work. Fact.
It is about ditching the bad habits you’ve developed around food and exercise and replacing them with new ones that lead to a healthy lifestyle. I believe 100% you should never give up the things you love. If on balance your lifestyle is healthy and active the odd chocolate bar or burger makes no difference overall.
Truth is, though, too many people swing between extremes of denial and over indulgence, in a destructive cycle. Result? Emotional upset, guilt and more comfort eating.
The key to breaking this cycle and a permanently slimmer and fitter bod is learning to manage your emotions.
Manage your emotions and you are a long way down the path to changing your behaviour permanently.
Stayed motivated is the other essential. And the key to staying motivated is accountability. Through coaching you are making yourself accountable to me and committing to do certain things, daily, weekly, that will move you closer to your goal. Through one to one coaching plus unlimited additional support between sessions I will make sure you stick with it.
7 Rules of a Healthy Lifestyle
You will learn the 7 golden rules you need to be fitter and healthier (the by product is you become slimmer too). 7 rules that will allow you to replace the bad habits and bad behaviours that have been sabotaging you with ones that greatly boost your chances of success.
Why eight weeks? Because it takes time to learn new ways of thinking and acting so they become habits. It’s likely it will take longer than eight weeks to get the body you want, but you will know how to do it in a controlled and healthy way both mentally and physically.
